XCEL Lacrosse is excited to be partnering with the St. Andrew's School in beautiful Barrington, RI to offer a summer day camp for girls 8-18 years old.

Grouped by age and ability, campers will receive instruction on the individual and team concepts necessary to be successful lacrosse players.

Our camps will focus on 3 specific areas of player development during camp week.

Fundamentals - Important at every age and every level!  Coaches will work with players to further develop the individual skills that serve as the foundation for any successful lacrosse player.  Catching, throwing, dodging, shooting and individual offense and defense will be covered.

Position Development - Position specific training goes beyond the fundamentals and focuses on the unique skills of each position in lacrosse.  Our coaching staff will work with players at each position (midfield, attack, defense, long stick midfield, face-offs and goal) to develop the skill set required to be effective on the field.

Team Competing - In lacrosse, the “TEAM” concept is just as important as the individual skills of each player.  Players will learn what it takes to be part of a team and compete in a team environment throughout the week in team drills and scrimmages.
